Auxiliary lights, spotties, whatever you want to call them, are one of the first modification people seem to make to their 4X4. For someone driving an older 4X4 I can understand it. The driving lights on older rigs like 40/60 series Landcruisers are just plain shithouse.

The Not So Mighty Hummer

Personally, I love the hummer. It’s a car where going way over the top with just about every attribute is a given, a car with a clear ‘look at me’ factor, and a car that breaks free from trend that’s seeing just about every new car these days looking the bloody same…

Hypnos 4×4 Hybrid

We know it’s coming, but a full production hybrid 4X4 may be a little closer than we think. Citroen have announce a hybrid 4X4 called the Hypnos (yep I can see the advertising campaign now).

Citroen has unveiled a hybrid 4×4 at the Paris motor show called Hypnos. Stats being claimed are millage in the region of 60mpg, with a 0-60mph time of 9 seconds flat. Read the full article »
